1. Scope
This policy describes what a site of this shape would collect. Because this is a development build, the only data actually held is what WordPress and WooCommerce store by default on a local machine.
2. What is collected
| Data | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | To let you sign in and see bookings | WordPress users table |
| Order details | To record what was ordered and at what price | WooCommerce orders |
| Basket contents | To keep your basket between page loads | A session cookie and the sessions table |
| Comments | Only if you leave one | WordPress comments table |
3. What is not collected
- No payment card details — no live payment gateway is configured.
- No analytics or advertising identifiers.
- No data is shared with, or sold to, any third party.
4. How long it is kept
For as long as the development database exists. This is a local build, and deleting the site deletes the data with it.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you would have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. On a live site those requests would go to the operator’s data protection contact.
6. Cookies
Cookie use is described separately in the cookie policy.
